German Design Awards - Winner 

On November 22, 2019, RSAA/ Büro Ziyu Zhuang's project Xi'an Xi'an “The Top of Cloud” Restaurant won the German Design Awards. The award ceremony will be held on February 7, 2020 in Frankfurt, Germany, at the Ambiente will be held. 

The German Design Awards is a jury composed of experts from the global architecture and design industries to ensure the high standards of award selection and is a leader in international design practice. The award is the highest official award in Germany covering architecture, industry and design. It is issued by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and executed by the German Design Association. It is worth mentioning that the award must first be awarded by the Iconic Award hosted by the German Design Association. Only the grand prize is eligible to participate in the selection.

ICONIC AWARDS: Innovative Architecture - Winner 

The 2019 Iconic Awards annual award ceremony was held on October 7th at the Pinakothek der Moderne Art Gallery in Munich, Germany. RSAA/ Büro Zhuang Ziyu project Xi'an “The Top of Cloud” Restaurant won the interior design category Winner.

ICONIC AWARDS: Innovative Architecture was established by the German Design Council to recognize outstanding examples of interdisciplinary interaction through an independent architecture and design competition, and is committed to discovering global outstanding architectural projects, innovative interior and product design, and promoting communication.

Restaurant & Bar Design Awards-International Luxury 

On October 3, local time, the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards was held in London, England. RSAA/ Büro Zhuang Ziyu design project Xi'an “The Top of Cloud” Restaurant won the world's best luxury restaurant award. Fabian Wieser, general manager of our Berlin branch, attended the award ceremony.

Restaurant & Bar Design Awards has been held for 11 years, and it is a global dining space design award. In the 2019 British Restaurant & Bar Design Award, designers and catering space operators from more than 70 countries around the world participated in the award competition. Wallpaper chief editor Marcus Wareing and famous British designer Heatherwick have served as judges for the award.

On June 28, 2019, Beijing time, the Italian A' Design Award Ceremony was held at the Teatro Sociale Theater in Italy. The design project of RSAA/ Büro Zhuang Ziyu design project Xi'an “The Top of Cloud” Restaurant won the silver prize of the 2019 Italian A' Design Award

INSIDE World Festival of Interiors

Announced the 2019 shortlist on July 11, the RSAA/ Büro Ziyu Zhuang  project Xi'an “The Top of Cloud” Restaurant were shortlisted in the BARS & RESTAURANTS category SHORTLIST. The award ceremony will be held in Amsterdam from December 4th to 6th this year. At that time, our company's chief architect and partner Zhuang Ziyu and general manager of the German branch Fabian Wieser will go to Amsterdam to participate in the live presentation. 

INSIDE World Festival of Interiors is a three-day global event for interior designers and architects. It is the only interior design festival in the world that combines awards, on-site selection, meetings and exchanges, providing designers with knowledge and inspiration. INSIDE is a sister festival of the World Architecture Festival (WAF). It is held every year in different cities around the world. It is committed to celebrating and sharing excellent works in the world of architecture and interior design on a global scale, providing a global communication platform.
